This book is good for someone leading a healthcare organization who wants to transition the organization to being more analytics and data science-focused.
Data visualization is an important part of the data science lifecycle. This book gives advice on best practices for visualizing healthcare data.
This is another good big-picture book that is useful to data scientists and healthcare leaders implementing analytics and data science.

This gives an overview of how Artificial Intelligence is used in Healthcare. It is not public health-focused but it is a good starting point.
This is a comprehensive course on how to apply machine learning in Healthcare. I suggest taking this course after the Coursera specialization to deepen your knowledge of this field.
I recommend becoming a Tableau Desktop Specialist or completing the Tableau Data Analyst or Data Scientist training.
This course gives a great overview of Data Science to get students up to speed.
Anyone that is a data scientist should have a strong foundation in Linear Algebra. I recommend taking this.
This course is good for those who might have a data science background but are new to healthcare.
This course is good for those who need to learn SQL. SQL is probably the best starting place to become a health data analyst or health data scientist.
